Eurobot 2010 - Feed the World

Feed the World – this is the theme for Eurobot 2010. Eurobot is an international competition for autonomous robots. Teams consisting of students from more than 25 countries meet in order to compete in "feeding the world": The task is for the robot to collect fruit and vegetables, and to collect most of it in order to win the competition.

At the Swiss Championship, the top three Swiss teams win the right to compete in the European Championship. The European Championship has so far been held in Germany, France, Italy and Switzerland and it usually consists of about 50 to 60 competing teams. This year, three teams from Rapperswil-Jona will take part in the competition.
